Ultimate Steel Framing is seeking an experienced Steel Frame Detailer to join our team at Nerang (Gold Coast, QLD).
You will be responsible for providing high-quality steel frame detailing services to support our growing construction projects.

Key responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings and fabrication information for steel frame structures
- Collaborate with design teams (including clients) to ensure compatibility and compliance with relevant standards
- Identify and resolve technical issues during the detailing process
- Maintain detailed records and documentation for all steel frame projects

We are looking for someone who:
- is experienced as a steel frame detailer, preferably in the construction industry
- is proficient in using ENDUROCADD® software or similar, to produce detailed shop drawings
- has a thorough understanding of steel frame construction methods, fabrication processes and relevant Australian Standards
-has excellent problem solving & analytical skills to identify and resolve technical challenges
- uses effective communication skills to liaise with teams and clients
- is committed to delivering high quality work with an attention to detail

We are looking for an experienced carpentry crew (2 people or more) to install steel framing on residential building and commercial builds. YOU MUST BE QBCC LICENSED! If you can't provide a valid upto date license I can't have you work.

Our current rates for residential builds is $38/m2 ex GST. with an hourly rate for extras at $55/hr

Commercial buildings vary across the size so a square metre rate can't be given, however all contracts are negotiated to a rate. If you are inexperienced in working in a commercial environment, we can't guide you through what is required in terms of SWMS and other documentation required. To put it basically if you can do the paperwork, commercial work pays a lot better and is much more organised.

We have jobs from Northside of Brisbane to Gold Coast available.
Commercial jobs use builders like FKG, Badge, Broad and others.
