Once upon a time, long before mobile phones and computers plagued the serenity of our days, lived gentle imagination; a place beyond the pines, where sprites and hobgoblins frolicked in warm sunny glades, and children conversed with frogs down by the lily pond...a time where telephones were made with two old cans and long piece of string, and a humble pine cone or acorn could provide hours of stim

ulating entertainment for the mind. Here at ''Amongst the Acorns'' we strive, each day, to keep that imagination alive-in a tree stump we see a wizards chair, in a dream-catcher-a portal into a magical realm of elemental beings...We use recycled materials wherever possible and use this art to make a living, making sure we tread ever so gently -with the tiniest fairy footprints-on our great mother Earth. Hello to all our loyal and beautiful "Amongst the Acorns" customers! Thank you so much for supporting our creative ventures over the past several years...We were so blessed to receive such amazing feedback and build such a lovely family of fellow stallholders and weekly returning customers. It was your appreciation of what we created, that made us able to make a living doing what we loved for all those years. Thanks a million!....Fortunately, in a silver lining kind of way, we are both pursuing other creative endeavours and Amongst the Acorns is no longer operational!! Mornington Racecourse TWILIGHT market is on today everyone!!!! The market will run from 4-9pm with all the food, drinks and music that you know you want to get amongst! Ooh speaking of 'amongst', Amongst the Acorns will be there for their last market of the summer down on the Peninsula....We will be spending January and February at the Torquay and Geelong Nightjar Festivals!! Come along and don't miss out...ooh yes and we have echidna quills too! ☀ ###
