BarefootGypsy Homewares + Accessories Our homewares and furniture unearth the intersection of travel and design. It’s our aim to bring the curiosities of the world to you.

Each collection is carefully sourced from the edges of the maps, from the remote villages of India to the souks of Marrakech Through our travels, we source beautiful, textural and unique furniture items, homewares, lighting and fashion pieces that are ethically created by local artisians in Morocco, Indonesia, India and other locations around the globe. We always ensure our pieces are authentic and made consciously, with consideration of the planet. The perfectly imperfect pieces we source have a modern bohemian aesthetic that we curate together and showcase online and in our serene space on the Mornington Peninsula. We aim to bring out feelings of wonderment appealing to the traveller within you, looking for pieces that instil a sense of calm, serenity and soul. All our pieces have synergy with one another allowing you to easily create a relaxed, coastal styled, harmonious home – so you can emulate a resort feel in your everyday spaces. ✨ WE’RE HIRING | SALES COORDINATOR & ALL ROUNDER ✨

We’re looking for a new team member to join our Barefoot Gypsy family, working 3–4 days per week in our Wagga Wagga showroom.

This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who loves people, sales, beautiful spaces and keeping things organised.

🤎 The role will include:
• Customer service & in-store sales — sales is a strong focus of this position
• Managing and nurturing our wholesale customer database
• Processing wholesale enquiries & assisting with wholesale sales
• General admin & day-to-day showroom support
• Assisting with our in-store social media & content
• Merchandising, styling & keeping the showroom looking beautiful
• Being an all-rounder and helping wherever needed

We’re looking for someone who is confident, proactive, organised and genuinely loves connecting with customers. Experience in sales, retail, wholesale, admin or social media would be a huge bonus.

If you’re someone who can confidently sell, build relationships, stay on top of the details and bring great energy to the showroom — we’d love to hear from you. 🤎

What a beautiful evening spent at the Coolamon YIELD Festival, surrounded by incredible artwork, sculptures and so much amazing local talent. 🎨✨

The highlight was getting to watch my amazing mother-in-law, Kerry Symons, take home a prize for the second year in a row — such a talented artist! 👏🤍

I was also lucky enough to purchase a beautiful piece by the incredibly talented Rachel Braybon, and absolutely loved seeing the stunning sculptures by Simone Fuller.

We are so lucky to have such incredible artists and creatives in our local community! 🫶✨
