I am SO excited to announce THE INTERNATIONAL DYER COUNTDOWN BOX!! 🥳💖🌏

I’ve been cooking up this idea since 2021 and am finally bringing it to life. I have been fortunate enough in my years on insta to connect with so many incredible dyers from around the world. It’s been an honour to meet many of them in my travels and it was at that I realised I needed to come up with a way to increase the visibility of these artists creations both back home in Aus but also bring more Aussie yarn overseas! So finally my 2021 idea was reborn with the aim to showcase some incredible dyers that I’ve come across in the last 5 or so years of doing this online crafty biz 🥰

This countdown box will feature 24 mini skeins and one main skein from dyers around the world, each with a colourway that truly represents THEM 🥰 I didn’t want this box to have a theme or a strict colour guideline, just something that feels true to the dyer so you can see what they’re made of and appreciate the real heart of their art. I absolutely cannot wait to see the taster pallet of yarn that is coming our way. Trust me when I say I am just as excited about this concept as you are!!

More details are to come including the dyer lineup 👀 but I wanted to let you know it’s on the way and will be launching this month! Any questions, please drop them in the comments and I’ll make sure to capture them in the post with more details 🥳

W+W Wrapped 2025 🥰🤭👀

THAT’S RIGHT!! WOOL AND WORKS IS MOVING!! 🥳 I am SO excited to announce that I am moving from the shed to a proper studio! This has been so hard to keep secret for close to a year. I am emotional writing this as I have poured so much love and energy into this space and I can’t wait to share it with all of you!

2025 was a HUGE year for me and such a grind. It certainly wasn’t easy, but looking back now I am so proud of what I created 💖

84 brand new colourways across a collection, club, countdown box and more. First time doing a 32 day countdown box and an advent of any sort in three years. First international market and first time vending at (Bendigo) where I brought two international dyers with me to make their yarn more accessible for our Australian community

On the engineering front, I was promoted to project engineer and taught three grads which reinvigorated my love of teaching

And finally, I used my life savings from engineering to invest in my crafty biz and renovated a studio for W+W 🥹 I have spent many late nights and weekends designing and working on the studio. This reno has been such a challenge but I have loved every minute of it and while the financial risk was extremely terrifying, I’ve backed myself and I’m proud of stepping out of my comfort zone and giving it a red hot crack ❤️‍🔥

I have designed the space to be extremely efficient for yarn dyeing, and by moving the business out of my family home, I will be able to hire someone to help me this year. This means quicker turn around times on orders which is something I’m conscious I haven’t always delivered on in the last 12 months. So for those who ordered from me in 2025 and were kind and patient while they waited for their squishy goodies - thank you

None of this would be possible without your support. Honestly your messages, comments and kind emails keep me going and make me want to work hard to create magic for this craft community. So thank you for being exactly as you are and choosing to support me. It means the world. HNY, and let’s get stuck into an awesome 2026 🥳 Love Chlo xx

🪩🩵 DISCO DINER 🩵🪩

I have been dreaming up this colourway for SO long and it feels very me. A beautiful light blue, green and pink base with all the speckles you can imagine! I wanted it to look like a holographic disco ball when the lights reflect off it and I am just so happy with how it turned out

For those that shopped the Disco Diner Countdown Box and put your trust in me to buy my first ever fade without knowing what it would look like - thank you! I have truly loved creating this colour story and collaborating with so many female artists to bring this box together

There are still a few boxes available on my website that are ready to ship if you are having FOMO. Some of them have some oopsie minis (only 1-4 minis with small speckle errors) and are heavily discounted so grab them while you can!
