I have just finished these two sets of bedside tables. Which ones do you prefer and why?
Thank you in advance - your feedback is appreciated so much!

The black ones are painted in 'Anchor Silk Mineral Paint' by Dixie Belle and timber gel stained in 'To***co Road'.

The teal ones are painted in 'Antebellum Chalk Mineral Paint' by Dixie Belle, enhanced with Gold Digger metallic paint and tops in a mixed gel stain glaze.

This Cowgirl slim tallboy piece has been 'Pretty Tough' - applying the paper over contoured drawers and then trying to blend all the edges top to bottom. Currently just working out the handle placement ...

I'm so happy with the drawers - they look amazing with their custom coloured interiors that match the gorgeous dusty pink inserts.

The cow herd stencil on the edge of the drawers just top it off ... how cool are they? ...

A pair of white solid timber bedside tables - painted in 'Fluff' by Dixie Belle. (These actually look better in real life than in this staged photo)

The top drawer features a paintable wallpaper pattern. The handles are up-cycled in Rose Gold which go so well with the Tan timber wash on top...

This dressing table has been in the work shed since the middle of last year - semi finished. I am finally very close to completing it and wanted to share this beauty with you.

The problem was the mirror which was in very bad condition - we stripped it back to glass and were hoping to learn how to re-silver it along with a few others we have, but it proved to be too difficult - ie.. getting the materials needed to complete the process etc..

We sourced another mirror and I think it suits the dresser very nicely.

I love it. What do you think?

MB decided one weekend that it would be a good idea to seek out some old TV cabinets for parts ... and I am known never to refuse a generous offer ๐Ÿ˜

So we looked on marketplace, took the trailer and went on quite an adventure - one was selling for $20 - so we picked that up - looked again, another selling for $5 - lets catch it and bring it home as well we thought.

It was way out beyond Woop Woop but that's ok - it's a bargain!!

Well - I never consider how things are going to be loaded because MB sorts all that out ... but on this occasion I did say REALLY are we REALLY going to fit those two massive monsters onto our trailer.

Anyway, long story short we met some lovely people on our journey - we got the monsters home but none of the components were going to fix the problem that we were seeking them out for ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ... so instead we got started on a whole new set of projects ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

Here is the first product of our endeavours and it looks absolutely beautiful !!

(Photo of one of the monsters is in the comments ๐Ÿ‘‡ ... I think the second one was even bigger ๐Ÿ˜

Painted in 'Salt Water' Silk Mineral Paint by Dixie Belle Paint Company and the inside painted with one of my favourite combinations - 'Oyster' and 'Endless Shore'.

There is glass to go on the door but this is photographed without it ๐Ÿ˜‰

Which one do you find most interesting?

On Friday I started the process ... Applying these papers to their respective cabinets. Two fabulous women from totally different periods of time. Stay tuned, I'm really excited about both of these projects ๐Ÿ˜Š.

When I picked up this cabinet or should I say 'before' I picked up this cabinet ๐Ÿ˜Š - I thought it would be an easy transformation.

I was wrong, as I often am ๐Ÿ˜….

This piece was not expensive to purchase but because it was so distressed (and that wasn't the look I was going for) - I spent hours bogging and priming and painting and repainting and bogging and eventually got it to a state that I'm pretty happy with.

New feet - were fixed to the cabinet by my husband (usually referred to as MB - lover of the colour Mission Brown ๐Ÿ˜œ) he turned these from an old coffee table on his new 'second hand' wood lathe - Amazing!!

Painted in Dixie Belles 'Vintage Duck Egg' chalk paint (after priming, bogging and more priming ๐Ÿ˜…); wallpapered with paintable paper and then painted and dry brushed with a lighter tone of the Vintage Duck Egg to help the design pop.

Stencil on the inside of the doors, top stripped and washed with a dark brown to match the small interior shelf. Hinges enhanced with bronze gilding wax to match the change of hardware.

This one is still pretty rustic but looking a million dollars on what we started with. Before picture in the comments ๐Ÿ‘‡
