John is part of a new movement of contemporary fine furniture makers and collectors respecting our valuable timber. Having trained at the School for Wood in 2003, John has been working as a designer maker for the past 14 years. Coming from a father who was a cabinet maker, John spent much time growing up in the factory with his dad banging things together and playing with wood. He has built up a s

olid client base through word of mouth. Over the years the business has grown to take on commercial work,built in joinery and architectural work in addition to fine furniture which is the core of the workshop. Johns work sits in such places as boardrooms of some well known commercial companies as well as residences throughout Australia and New Zealand. His vision is to move away from our throw-away-world by creating furniture that will extend and be cherished beyond our life time. Commissioning a piece of beautiful, handmade furniture is an exciting and rewarding experience. You will become the owner of a unique piece, made to the highest standards and to your requirements. Working closely with John, you will be involved with design, timber choices and finish. Its a collaboration from conception to delivery.
