My Horizontal Routing rig.
I built this rig about 1 year ago, when i was making the hardwood table tops and due to a having problem with dowels not lining up, it was causing more problems with the finished tops, lots and lots of problems, it worked a treat. i had seen something like it before on Youtube after watching a video on you tube. well i had some liner slides and rails, a few peices of MDF. I made the router cradle out of 22 mm cutting board. i have a jig for making handles/knobs. it's so easy to use i wished i had made it earlier.

Just a short update on were I’m up to, the container when it got delivered the back was placed on brick stands and the front was on screw jacks, it was levelled and brick stands were placed under the front, the screw jacks were removed and put under the side were I’m going to cut out for the large sliding door.

Cutting and shutting has started and a bit of paint has been splashed around

A shade cloth cover was placed over the two containers, It covers 8mt by 8mt was a damaged shopping centre carpark cover, got it for free. Very heavy all folded up, It took some grunting to get it in the back of the Ute

Well the build starts, container has landed. A BIG thanks to the Driver from Clayton's towing Services to place the container where i wanted it, very patience driver operator.
now time to start cutting some holes, in the right place

First lot of cabinets for the shipping container build have been picked up, these will be the clothes draws, and bed base storage. 6 units in total, with full extension tracks, plus 5 sheets of melamine board for the kitchenette carcass.
