Lightning Ridge Men's Shed Incorporated Shed was officialy opened 21st May 2011
Our Hours are 8.30am to 2.30 pm Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Frid, and Saturday by appointment only.

Monday the 21st of this Month we have been officaly opened 12 Months

Lightning Ridge Men's Shed started late 2009. What our aim is to involve the men of our Community, Young and the Elders alike to get involved and re introduce their skills that they have possibly thought they had forgotten about. this enables the members to have more time to give to the Shed and there own projects. Our current activities are the restoration of furniture that has been neglected, and had a hard life or covered with that horrible stuff called (paint) spread all over them. We have changed the reflection of our shed with loving and dedicated care, with new paint and internal structual changes. Our Model Railway section will be a BIG tourist attraction further down the track. Were are not just about work we all love our cuppas (playing cards, playing chess reading or watching a movie, doing what men are generaly good at doing)
Our shed is a Non Smoking and Alchohol free Shed.
