I love stalking Pinterest for inspo. If your like me I like to change things around in my home.

This year due to Covid lockdown its probably the biggest room changing I have ever done.

My home consists of 3 living rooms, 2 dinning rooms & 2 kitchens .

I have definitly started a massive project, which I cant wait to share with you all soon.

Lockdown has allowed me to clean up and find some unique pieces to style and revamp my home.

I would find some beautiful pieces over time that I new I would never be able to part from . They would just sit in my garden to age until I new what I would do with them , like the mirror and marble metal table. Both found at different times on my hunts.

Just the other day as I sat on my lounge looking out the window, these peices spoke to me and it was time to bring them inside as did the female statue, as she chipped away over the years outside and it was time for her to make a statement.

The urn that I bought last year, no longer complemented my colour scheme, so I decided to paint it and age it.

The old luvre door I had in my studio which I painted & distressed years ago.

Instead of getting rid of them, I've been able to style up this corner of our family TV room.

Now that we are in lockdown , I have all the time in the world to change the look of my home.

Hubby painted our bedroom the other day,as it was time to say goodbye to the black room, YES I painted it black, lol.

I've started to paint again as there isn't much else I can do when we are in a LGA and in a 5k lockdown. Finding pieces around the house is actually fun as there has been many that I have found in my days of hunting that I have never made the time to touch.

Painting mirrors in my bedroom is another project Im currently working on as they no longer suit the look that I'm going for now.

These I shall share with you all once completed and I'm happy with the finished look in our bedroom.

After not being able to find anything online that I liked for this blank wall in our TV room, I manage to swap these out of our guest room.

YES, I know it's been awhile, it's been a hell of year that for sure. Lockdown hit us for the very first time last year , things just changed for House of Imperfections. I needed time off and branch out into something new to keep my sanity.

I miss this, My creativity, My passion for painting, and YOU !
