I had the pleasure of building this beautiful live edge barn door from two giant Coastal Redwood slabs (sequoia sempervirens) stunning trees and such gorgeous timber! This massive barn door measures 2.3 tall by 1.4 wide and has been specially designs to allow minimal light into the clients theatre room 🤩

What a privilege it is to have customers come to you and put faith in you to create something unique for them, and when the job is done show such love and appreciation for the work you’ve put in, this is one of the reasons I enjoy doing what I do 😊. It’s hard to explain just how exquisite this door is in person! Yes I’m slightly bias as I built it☺️ however it truly is a piece of art that I’m extremely proud to have created. Recycled timber is something I am well and truly versed in , however recycling old glass was a new challenge, I have a new appreciation for just how beautiful vintage glass can be!

What an absolute honor to be given the opportunity to create such a wonderful family table! Not only did the clients come to me with a idea for a dining table, but a vision to create a space for the entire extended family, kids, grandkids all to congregate around and enjoy family meals and games nights! And it gets better… this table, at a massive 2700mm x 1200mm was build from salvaged Blackbutt from an Inverloch shack her daughter and son in-law had only just pulled down. Recycled timber at its finest! . . .

The.Grand.Entrance. This one of a kind entrance door has been thoughtfully designed to show case elements of traditional construction, along with modern style and functionality. This 1200mm wide door has been hand crafted from recycled Douglas Fir, some of which has been in my collection for almost 30 years. We have incorporated Corten highlights accentuating and complimenting the arch and timber tones of this beautiful door.
