Hey y’all👋🏽
I am yet to do the all about ‘mwah’ post!
So for all of you that don’t know me that well but would like to - here is a lil sumthn sumthn for you💗
I am a New Zealand Maori & proud😁 In our native Maori language (te reo) we call New Zealand “Aotearoa”, meaning “Land of the Long White Cloud”. I am not fluent in our native language, (yet, but someday hope to be) but I know a few words & like to drop a Maori word here or there but will always relay it in English for yas😄
I am also of Scottish & Portuguese descent & would one day love to return to my roots & learn more about those sides of my bloodlines🇳🇿🏴🇵🇹
I have lived in Australia 16 years now😮
10 of those years were on the beautiful & hot Gold Coast, QLD & 1 random year in the even hotter desert of Karratha,WA. And now we are all settled in the Northern suburbs of Beveridge, Melbourne, VIC (also was the home town of the Aussie outlaw Ned Kelly!!).
I have 3 beautiful tamariki (children) & none were born in NZ, but instead born in 3 different states of Australia being NSW, QLD & VIC!!
I met my hubby while I was in High School & we have been together for 24 years & married for 12💍👩🏽❤️💋👨🏾
I started setting up this little side hustle as a way to keep sane during that year & a half of relentless lockdowns!! Being a SAHM got extra hard in those times & doing something for myself really helped me mentally.
Before being a SAHM I was a dental nurse & my then side hustle was singing with my sister all over the Gold Coast & gigging at cafe’s, pubs, weddings, birthdays, corporate & charity events. Singing is still a massive passion of mine & as you can see I have plans to get back into it & incorporate it into my little “Sweet Honey Events” business🎙🎤🎙🎙
I love love love & am alllllllll about God, family, good friends, food & good times!!
Well thanks for tuning in & taking an interest if ya got through all of that😆 And especially thanks for coming along for the ride on this “Sweet Honey Events” journey with me so far!! It truely means the world to me💞💕💞
Heaps of aroha (love)
