There was a past version of me who felt lost — lacking inspiration and confidence in myself.
I was showing up to 9–5 jobs that drained me, just waiting for the day to end, convinced I’d never find a way to make money doing something I actually enjoyed.
Then I discovered furniture upcycling.
When I transformed a curb-side coffee table in under an hour and sold it for $200 within 24 hours on Gumtree, something shifted. I tapped into a part of me that had been dormant for a really long time…
A part that felt excited, lit up, and motivated. A part that wanted to keep going — not just for the money, but for the joy of it.
In a recent session with my psychologist, she pointed out that I tend to discredit the success I’ve had — building a business and growing a social media following of over 50k. That I struggle to truly acknowledge how far I’ve come.
She was right.
Because if you had told me 10 years ago that I’d be running a business I love from my garage, with a 50k following… I wouldn’t have believed you and would have squealed with excitement.
And yet, here I am — still sometimes feeling like it’s not enough.
But the truth is, even though the business still has room to grow and I have so much more to learn, it’s the internal transformation I’m most proud of.
The way I’ve shed limiting beliefs, worked through self-doubt, and broken old patterns.
The confidence I’ve built.
The proof I’ve given myself that it is possible to make money doing what you love — when you back yourself with the right mindset.
Because growth doesn’t come from reaching the final destination…
It comes from who you become along the way.
And this — this is what truly lights me up now.
Helping others experience that kind of transformation too.
