🌟 Introducing... Jude Lunny 🫶🎊
🩷 Our second local panellist at this year's event! 🩷
Jude Lunny was born and raised in East Gippsland. She is an educator and survivor of drink-spiking r**e and is passionate about empowering other survivors to own their own healing. Jude has become a prominent advocate for drink-spiking awareness and sexual assault prevention. She is an active member of Full Stop Australia National Survivor Advocate Program using her lived experience to help drive cultural, legislative, and political change to put a full stop to sexual, domestic, and family violence.
She has shared her story widely, including in a chapter of the 2023 anthology Vol. 1 - Stories of Trauma to Triumph, and was also awarded an international Global Women of Influence Award in 2024, in recognition of her dedication, passion and perseverance through raising awareness for drink spiking and violence against women, and supporting individuals in the community having experienced sexual assault.
Jude knows that by sharing her story, she continues to raise awareness and educate the public about these ongoing crimes which often go unreported due to the shame, fear, and emotional turmoil that survivors endure. Jude believes that conversation creates healing and encourages changes in the actions of others.
