18ct yellow gold Australian Sapphire and Diamond handmade engagement ring ✨

I have always wanted to make a ring in this design, so when my lovely customer walked in with the perfect Sapphire and this idea I was 100% on board! I already had a matching pair of trilliant diamonds that fitted perfectly with the Sapphire, it was all just meant to be 💙💙💙
I had a lot of fun adding the scroll design into the under setting, I wish I had of taken more progress shots of the ring creation but I was too distracted by this Sapphire! Purchased by my customer, this 1.5ct QLD Sapphire showed beautiful hexagonal colour banding, I just loved catching glimpses of it in the light whilst it was on my bench 😍
