Notice as you swipe, the series becomes more challenging. I always start my classes with a base layer, focusing on form and control- and then gradually build into something more challenging. It’s about creating the confidence the mind and body need to keep progressing.
Sometimes we convince ourselves we aren’t strong enough to try the advanced version of an exercise. But what if you gradually built up to it, focusing on your form, your breath, and keeping your body under your control? You never really know what your body is capable of unless you try.
Allowing clients to feel safe and confident enough to attempt any level of an exercise is the beauty of movement and empowerment.
You’ll never see an advanced movement in my classes without building up to it first. I never want anyone to feel excluded. And if the advanced option feels like too much on a particular day, that’s absolutely fine.
We try. We don’t judge the body. We meet it where it is and go from there. ❤️🔥
