A small residential design office, F3 Studio was founded in early 2015 on three key principles: form, function and that sometimes illusive fuzzy feeling. Mount Eliza house, a new split-level four-bedroom family home with Hoad Building Co.
The laundry and pantry are finished in the same neutral tones as the kitchen. The laundry features open skirting in a tall cupboard for a robo-vac, with a hanging rail behind overhead cupboards for drying. The galley style pantry has been designed with expansive bench space for small appliances with a sink and zip tap. Open shelving to the ‘blind side’ of the room allows easy access to daily food items.

Mount Eliza house, a new split-level four-bedroom family home with Hoad Building Co.
Three bedrooms include robes with integrated desks, two for the kids and one as a combined bedroom / office space with additional open shelving. Feature open shelving bookends the desk to allow for the display of loved objects, while hiding power and usb outlets at desk height. The main bedroom features wall detailing to match that of the ensuite, with feature wall lighting creating a hotel-like feel.

The kitchen has been designed in a modern farmhouse style, with profiled laminate joinery in a soft warm white complemented by Taj Mahal engineered stone and antique brass tapware and cabinet hardware. The right side of the island bench serves as a breakfast bar, creating a separate destination to the dining space adjacent. A column fridge and freezer bookend the cooking zone which includes induction cooktop with pyrolytic oven and combi microwave/oven under.

The bathroom and ensuite feature off-the-shelf vanities and overhead cabinets with custom bench tops. Timber wall detailing mirrors that of the home’s exterior, adding texture to otherwise plain walls and negating the need for tiling to all vertical surfaces.
