Two shots of the first stage from a few months back of the recent job that I mentioned in my last post.
Some big heavy 300mm x 300mm x 600mm Ironbark outdoor public seating. All of this project was for the local council and was a rebuild of existing street furniture that had seen better days.__________________________________________

Last resin job for the year complete.
Red Gum river coffee table edge trimmed with Macassar Ebony. It has a Blum soft close drawer on the other face that you can't see in this pic.

Images were shot at the studio. Thanks guys, a very cool space you have there.

Now I just need to put the finishing touches to a (nearly completed) Blackbutt bed today and tidy up the workshop. __________________________________________

A 2.6m to 3.4 metre Blackbutt extension table that I am trying my hardest to get out the door and to the new owners by Christmas, but.........there are always other forces in play at this time of year and they are certainly working against me right now !
It will need nothing short of a miracle to pull this one off as I'm waiting on welders, then powdercoaters and then the removalists cut off time for loading onto his truck to get it up to Brisbane is this Wednesday at midday. That gives me just one and a bit full work days (if I actually do get the frame back into my factory on Monday) to put it all together and get it operating smoothly.
I need Santa's little elves helping me out here I think ! 😊

A ride we did a few weeks ago from Lake Como up into St. Moritz in Switzerland via the Maloja Pass and back down via the Bernina pass. Being a bike rider since I was 16, I've always wanted to ride an alpine pass. Getting to ride two in one day with like minded people (Tom from the Gold Coast and our guide Mauro from Lake Como Motorcycle) on a 1200 Ducati in Italy and Switzerland was just something else altogether.
