A classic kitchen, thoughtfully reworked to honour the architecture of this beautiful Port Melbourne home.
Shaker style cabinetry, a striking army green island and warm brass detailing came together to create a space that feels refined, timeless and deeply at home in its surroundings.
For me, the best result always comes from working with the bones of the home, whether that leads you traditional, contemporary, moody, coastal calm or somewhere in between. The right design should feel considered, effortless and true to the way you live.

Creating this space was really about keeping things simple and letting the materials, shapes and texture speak for themselves. I wanted it to feel timeless, calm and effortless, with the kind of elegance that doesn’t need to try too hard. I also drew on the courtyard to help shape the interior, inviting its natural texture and softness inside so the whole space feels connected and easy to live in.

Bathrooms matter more than people give them credit for. They’re used every single day, often at the bookends of life’s chaos, so they need to work hard while still feeling calm. Good bathrooms are functional, easy to maintain, and quietly grounding, spaces that support routine rather than fight it.

When the layout makes sense, finishes are considered, and maintenance is built in from day one, a bathroom stops being just practical and starts becoming a place you actually enjoy being in. Simple, thoughtful design always lasts.

As the year gently winds down, I just want to say thank you 🙏🏼 It’s with gratitude that I close out this year, having had the privilege of being part of so many thoughtful, inspiring projects. Being trusted to shape spaces, and in small but meaningful ways, enhance how people live is something that never loses its magic for me. To every client, collaborator, supplier and supporter who has been part of the journey this year- thank you. It’s been a wonderful year, and I’m deeply grateful for it. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a calm a beautiful start to the year ahead.

Bathroom Glow Up.
The old bathtub is gone, making way for a walk-in shower that feels spacious and luxe. Ribbed cabinetry, a gently curving mirror and Matt black fitting bring the attitude, while soft blue tiles keep it calm and elegant. Same room, totally different vibe. .

Bathroom Before & After

The clients brief - Minimal pared back, and elevated with black accents - this bathroom was all about restraint with impact. Wrapping this space in a single stone tile, creating seamless lines that expand the room and deliver timeless appeal. A complete transformation from its former self, designed to stand the test of time.

A living room doesn’t need to shout to make a statement. By pairing refined joinery with subtle wall detailing, this space builds quiet drama. The balance of structure and softness creates layers that invite you to pause, notice, and experience the room in more than one dimension.
Here I have chosen understatement as the hero. The joinery has been designed with precision, allowing texture, line, and shadow to do the heavy lifting. The wall detailing adds depth without fuss, proving that restraint often delivers the most powerful results.
Executed with care, this combination moves beyond trends. It gives the space timeless elegance, sophisticated, grounded, and calm. A room designed to endure, not just impress in the moment.

A bathroom should be more than just a functional space - it’s where we begin and end our day, For me great design balances practicality with beauty, and it should never sacrifice one for the other.
Layered textures, thoughtful materials, and carefully considered lighting are what transforms a simple bathroom into a space you actually want to spend time in. It’s these details that create calm, comfort and quiet luxury.
