All the natural features of the timber are retained, often the imperfections in a block of wood can be the very thing that make the end product individual and a stand out from mass produced items that you can find in any chain store. Kennedy Design Co aim to show that nothing beats the quality and dura

bility of an item made from the heart of nature. Occasionally we come across a piece of wood from overseas that catches our eye, but nothing can compare long term with the fantastic selection of wood that we have at our doorstep throughout Australia. We are focused on recycling and often incorporate metal together with wood to enhance the beauty of our homewares range.

Back in the shed today making some pens. Felt really good to be doing some turning again. These are a variety of wood. Red cedar, budgeroo, hairy oak, purple gidgee. Gun metal grey ends really make a difference from the usual gold and silver.

We bought this antique farmhouse cupboard for our kitchen renovation. We lovingly restored it and found it didn’t really fit with the look that we had created in the rest of the space.....so we are now selling for $500. Dimensions are: 1500mm wide, 680mm deep, 980mm bench height and 1025mm to back board height. If you’re looking for a unique piece for your house it is certainly that. Would also suit vanity on bathroom. Plenty of storage room. Let me know if you’re interested.

We recently completed this feature on the front of our kitchen island. A fantastic feature to the kitchen. The fence posts are over 100 years old. You can’t get this look with new boards. Lots of sanding and tung oil completed the look. If you would like something like this in your home, drop me a line.
