💙 KEEPING BRIBIE CONNECTED 💙

With the Telstra mobile outage affecting many people today, here's a little tip that may help if you have Wi-Fi Calling enabled and your home internet is still working.

Simply turn Airplane Mode ON, then turn Wi-Fi back ON. If Wi-Fi Calling is enabled on your phone, you may be able to make and receive calls over your home internet.

It won't work for everyone, but it's certainly worth a try!

📞 KEEPING BRIBIE CONNECTED 💙

One reason I often recommend letting unknown numbers go to voicemail is that some scam and telemarketing systems call numbers just to check if someone answers.

If you pick up, your number may be marked as "active" or "live", which can lead to more unwanted calls.

My simple rule:
✔️ Don't answer numbers you don't recognise.
✔️ Let voicemail do the work.
✔️ If it's important, most genuine callers will leave a message.

📺 KEEPING BRIBIE CONNECTED 💙
Here's a quick tip that can save you replacing a perfectly good TV remote!
Use your mobile phone camera to check if your remote is sending an InfraRed (IR) signal. Even if the light is working, if only one or two buttons aren't responding, it could simply be dust or dirt under the buttons stopping a good connection.
Hopefully this little trick saves you some time and money!
