R U OK Day is an awareness day of action dedicated to reminding everyone we’ve got what it takes to ask “are you okay?” and support our family, friends and co-workers. A lot of men do struggle to talk about personal experiences and strong emotions so it’s important we get the message out to other trades and other professions.

We all know life can throw many curve balls in the form of work and financial difficulties, relationship breakdowns or significant setbacks. All of these factors can have a serious impact on anyones mental health if left unchecked. It seems it is common practice for “The Aussie Man” to tough it out and struggle alone, but it certainly isn’t the case.

This is the first year Customline Cabinets takes part to embrace this day in the workforce as we know it’s not always obvious that someone is struggling and even just a text message to check in on someone can have such an impact in changing a persons perception mentally and let them know they are not alone.
