I have some holiday treats for you! They’re in Mt Barker though.
I was at a lady’s shed last week, buying some of her old stored pieces to do up - projects that never happened.
She had some other completed and/or practically good to go furniture. I said I’d see if I knew anyone after any of these kind of antiques.
They’re mostly in good condition, just need a dust off.
I thought maybe someone hunting for half a house of antiques might think it worth their while for the drive to Barker, especially if you’re collecting multiple pieces.
Kitchenette - Good to go after a quick clean up. $1000.
Hallstand - looks good to go. Its jarrah or oak i think, I wasnt paying attention at the time sorry. It normal height, but smaller width, maybe 60cm across. May need a little refinish on the little bench top. No sanding I’d say, just cleaning up the finish that’s there. I can help with that, either by coaching you through it or doing it for you if you need. $250
Washstand - good condition. This is a real treat, if you like it grab it, as ones like this don’t seem to appear that often. The marble, the tiles and the spindles look all intact and great condition. It’s oak. $650
Wardrobes - both are oak. One of them is missing a handle, as pictured. I’ll have something to replace it with. $300 each.
Dressers - the smaller one is pine. The other one is jarrah or oak, I didn’t look closely sorry. The larger one needs some handle parts, I probably have some or something similar. The tops could do with their finish tidied up. Again, not a complete sanding back, just restoring what’s there- I think. I can help if you need. $250 each.
Sorry the photos aren’t great, it was a bit crammed.
If you’re keen on anything, I’ll pass on Caroline’s details to you. She is happy to negotiate and happy to do “bundle deals”.
