From concept to completion, there is nothing quite like seeing a vision come to life.

We started with a detailed design to ensure every element was perfectly tailored to the space, and the finished installation is a seamless addition to the home. The design balances the organic texture of Polytec District Oak Woodmatt with a substantial 100mm Corian Dune Prima benchtop.

By suspending the unit 200mm off the floor, we achieved a floating effect that keeps the living area feeling open and spacious. To maintain the minimalist profile, we utilized push-to-open Blum Merivobox drawers and integrated LED lighting around the TV overhead to add depth and ambiance. It’s all about those fine details that take a project from an initial idea to a high-end reality.

There’s nothing quite like seeing a client’s vision come to life in their own home.

We had such a great time working on this project with AsBuiltSA. Our clients really nailed the palette here — they chose that striking Polytec Florentine Walnut Woodmatt for the base cabinetry, which brings so much warmth to the room, and balanced it perfectly with the soft, clean lines of Laminex Ghostgum overheads.

The curved detailing on the overheads and that stunning Lavistone Calacatta Gold stone really pull the whole space together. It’s always a privilege to help bring such a unique, well-considered design into reality.

This kitchen transformation is a great example of how different textures can work together to create a warm, inviting space. We used Tasmanian Oak for the cabinetry and floating shelves to bring in that natural feel, which pairs perfectly with the clean look of the Neolith Everest Sunrise stone benchtops.

There are so many thoughtful details in this one, from the textured Steccawood on the back of the island to the Feature Grade Blackbutt used for the integrated dining table. We also love the soft architectural curve of the rangehood and those tactile Hinoki Wood handles on the pantry that really finish off the custom look.

This entertainment unit is a masterclass in modern minimalism, blending high-end textures with seamless functionality. The design features a striking Verdecor Slate Shadow feature wall that perfectly frames the TV with a precise 300mm border.

To maintain a clean, handle-free aesthetic, the unit utilizes push-to-open doors and cabinets , finished in 2PAC Vivid White paint. The integrated LED lighting adds a sophisticated halo effect, highlighting between the dark, textured board and the crisp white cabinetry.

From Concept to Completion: The Art of the Curve

We are officially obsessed with how this vision came to life! There is a specific kind of magic that happens when architectural precision meets organic warmth, and seeing this design move from the initial concept drawing to a breath taking reality is why we do what we do.

In our latest project, we leaned into the "Soft Minimalist" movement, pairing the rhythmic grain of Polytec Boston Oak with the ethereal beauty of Cosentino Sensa Taj Mahal stone. The centre piece of this 3600mm high feature wall is the custom-rendered arched rangehood alcove, finished in Dulux Scallywag Quarter to add a soft, sculptural touch that breaks up the expansive cabinetry.

We didn’t just design for aesthetics; we designed for the lifestyle. We are particularly obsessed with the dedicated stone-clad bar station, it's the perfect pocket for evening entertaining that keeps the main benches clutter-free. Fully integrated appliances and push-to-open cabinetry create a continuous, furniture-like finish, while strategic LED strip lighting under the curved island and within the stone niches ensures the space feels just as luxurious at night as it does during the day. 💡

It is one thing to see a vision on paper, but seeing it come to life in the light is perfection.

Bringing this Mawson Lakes concept to life ✨

This custom functional display kitchen at the Destination Built head office blends soft curves, warm timber tones and layered lighting to create a modern, welcoming environment for both staff and clients.

The statement island features Stone Ambassador surfaces, a shadow line in Laminex Light Walnut Absolute Grain, and cabinetry in Laminex Surf (Natural Finish), all paired with brushed nickel hardware for a refined, cohesive look.

Subtle LED detailing throughout and the arched bar fridge wall with Taj Mahal stone backing add texture, depth and a designer feel, proof that workplace spaces don’t have to feel like work.
