An important announcement —
After much thought and consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to close down Tjhoko Paint UAE. It’s been such a wonderful journey filled with creativity, colour, and connection, and I’m truly grateful for everyone who has supported the brand and shared in this adventure with me. 💛

You can still find the last of the Tjhoko stock at Touchwood (La Brocante) and The Garden Concept, now 50% off in-store only — all stock must go! 🎨

Although this chapter is coming to an end, my creative journey is far from over. Workshops will continue as usual, with lots of exciting new projects and ideas ahead! 🌿✨

𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆’𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗷𝗵𝗼𝗸𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁
This two-drawer table needed a creative touch to become a functional and elegant secretary’s desk. Now, it proudly serves its purpose in a local guesthouse.

Tjhoko Paint Brand Ambassador 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝙀𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙤𝙩 from Mēraki Furniture completed this project using a few clever additions and techniques:

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽-𝗯𝘆-𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀
𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙣𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 - Used two wooden blocks from a previous piece of furniture to create sturdy side supports for shelving. Added additional wood to form the top and middle shelves.

𝘿𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙨 - Applied a raised stencil design with Tjhoko Stencil of Paris and gold detailing for a refined look.
Decoupaged the backing board with beautiful fabric, sealing it with clear glaze to enhance durability.

𝙋𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 & 𝙎𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 - Painted the entire piece in Tjhoko Paint’s Maestro, a timeless and elegant colour.
Sealed the entire surface with clear glaze for protection and longevity.
